Ceasar Cone, circa 1914.

History

Caesar Cone, a textile magnate and co-founder of Cone Mills Corporation, built the house on 303 Burke Street in 1906. In 1911, Caesar Cone sold the home to J.W. Burke, where 4 generations of the Burke family resided in the estate. The Brady Family bought the Burke Manor in 1999 and restored the home to its original grandeur, as designed by the Cone family. The Brady’s converted the grounds into an inn with the idea of transforming the house into a bed & breakfast. The owners today, Lori and Lil Lacassagne, purchased the Burke Manor in 2011.

Weddings

The Burke Manor Inn has become the premier,  year-round North Carolina garden wedding and reception facility in the Piedmont Triad and is known for attention to details, exquisite food, and complete event planning. Our unique combination consisting of our Victorian inn, beautiful gardens, manicured lawns, oversized pavilion, and exceptional kitchen and professional staff create the perfect intimate venue to host your wedding, private party or other special occasion.

Packages are available for elopements, intimate weddings, as well as large weddings and receptions for up to 300 guests.

THE GARDEN

Accommodates up to 250 guests in the lush arbor lawn garden. Includes arbor, shepard hooks, white folding chairs along with set up and take down, power source.

Shower under the pecan tree

PECAN TREE

Celebrate under the lush canopy of the century old pecan tree adjacent to the grand pavilion. Cocktail or traditional tables, folding chairs, linens, tea-lights, and mirrored tiles.

VERANDA

50 guests for seated dining or 65 guests for cocktail social. Includes tables, white linens, white folding chairs, mirrored tiles,  tea-lights, and cocktail tables.

THE PAVILION

Host up to 250 guests year-round in the 4,800 square foot covered grand pavilion boasting a 24-foot ceiling.  Includes chairs, tables, white linens, tea light candles, mirrors, power source, time for decoration and vendor set up.

THE INN

Host 50 guests for an intimate ceremony or reception in our formal dining room or elegant library. Includes chairs, tables, white linens, tea light candles, mirrors, power source, time for decoration.
