When we first visited 303 Burke Street in Gibsonville, NC, it was cold, empty and in desperate need of repair. It certainly was not the house that once boasted some of the most elite parties and family gatherings this community had once offered. Through years of neglect, this house was steps away from being bull dozed for commercial use.

From the first day we visited the house in January of 1999, to the day The Burke Manor opened its doors in December of 1999, we crossed many valleys, broken bridges and sometimes what seemed impassable road blocks to bring this home to you. At times, it did seem as if no one was for us or with us, but we still had our dream. A dream to provide the finest accommodations with attention to details and service second to none. Since June 2, 1999, we have spent countless hours planning, refurbishing and restoring a grand old home that had begun to deteriorate since its construction in 1906.
